Direct Reel and shared Reel addresses
A facebook.com/reel/ address points to an individual Reel. A facebook.com/share/r/ or fb.watch link can redirect to its destination. Keep the complete copied link; if it opens a feed instead, select the Reel and copy its final address.
The creator’s profile and your general Reels feed are not the selected clip. Make sure the URL leads back to the video you intend to save.
Keep the short clip complete
Select video with audio when you want both picture and soundtrack. An MP4 extension alone is not proof of sound, so read the result label. If several qualities appear, a smaller rendition uses less storage while a larger one retains more detail.
The source determines which media is available. Missing or muted source audio cannot be recreated by choosing a different download.
From the browser to Photos or Gallery
Check the browser’s Downloads list after completion. On iPhone, open the file in Files and use Save Video when available. On Android, open it from Downloads before moving or sharing it.
If a Reel does not return media, recopy its current link. A clip visible only to a limited audience or behind an access restriction may not be available through this public-link workflow.
