Short share links and full video URLs
Paste the complete vm.tiktok.com or vt.tiktok.com share link, or a tiktok.com/@username/video/ address. If a short link opens the wrong screen, open the video in a browser and copy its final address.
A creator profile, hashtag, sound page, photo slideshow, or live room is not the same as one standard video post.
Check the file, not just the preview
Choose an MP4 with audio when you want to keep both the vertical picture and soundtrack. An audio-only file leaves out the visuals. Resolution and file variants depend on the source returned for the post.
DownVid does not add its own watermark. A TikTok logo or overlay already present in the supplied video can remain; do not assume every result is watermark-free.
Save and find your TikTok video
Wait until preparation and the browser download are complete. On iPhone, look in Files; on Android, use the browser’s Downloads list. Preview the final seconds as well as the beginning before editing or sharing.
If no video is returned, check the post type and copy the URL again. Deleted or private posts and TikTok access restrictions can prevent a result.
