A post link is different from a profile link
Look for an individual instagram.com/p/ or instagram.com/reel/ address. A profile, Explore page, or audio page does not identify the video you want. A post link can also lead to photos, so confirm that the selected item actually contains video.
Keep the video useful beyond Instagram
For a gallery or messaging app, choose an available MP4 result that includes audio. Check the format label as well as the resolution: MP4 describes the file container, not whether sound is included.
Instagram determines the media supplied for the post. Downloading does not restore detail lost during upload or make a low-resolution source sharper. Where compatibility preparation is offered, let it finish before opening the file in another app.
Find the file or correct the link
On iPhone, check Files and the browser’s Downloads list before looking in Photos. On Android, check Downloads before Gallery. Preview the completed file, then share or move it to your preferred app.
If no media appears, recopy the link from the post itself. Private-account posts and media blocked by Instagram access restrictions are not available through this public-link service. Do not enter your Instagram password into a download form.
