Pin links are different from board links
Use an individual pinterest.com/pin/ address or the pin.it share link for that Pin. A board, profile, or search page contains several items and does not specify one video.
Pins can also be still images or links to products and articles. A moving preview or attractive cover does not always mean there is a Pinterest-hosted video to download.
Keep the Pin’s framing and sound
Vertical and square videos should remain in their supplied proportions. Choose from the dimensions shown in the results; downloading does not turn a portrait video into landscape or add detail beyond the source.
If the Pin plays sound, choose an available result with audio. Silent animations and loops may correctly return a file without a soundtrack.
When a pin.it link opens the wrong place
Open the short link in a browser, select the intended Pin, and copy its full Pin address. If the Pin leads to an external video site, use that video’s original link instead.
Find the completed file in your browser’s Downloads list. Check that it is the video—not a cover image—and preview its framing before moving it into a gallery or editor. Private or removed Pins may not return media.
